Join us this week as our East Tennessee journey continues in Cookeville, Tennessee with 4 time World’s Fittest Man Rich Froning, and World’s Fittest Teenager, Angelo DiCicco.

Hanging out with the Mayhem Crew is always a good time that never disappoints. These guys workout a lot. Like a whole lot.

This week you’ll learn exactly what the Champ is up to these days as well as what a day of training looks like for CrossFit Games Teenage Champ (14-15 year old division), Angelo DiCicco.

We talk about the magic and power of training partners and building a strong, competitive community. If you’re wondering what is so special about the athletes in Cookeville, here is your answer.

As a bonus, we’ve got an extra interview (audio only) this week with CrossFit Mayhem Freedom Team Members Lindy Barber, & Elly Kaboord.

Listen to Lindy’s and Elly’s show here.

Enjoy!

Rich touched on a point that hit home for me on this episode. Pain associated with bad sleeping habits or sleeping conditions. In my personal experience, 99 percent of my shoulder pain is a direct reflection from poor sleeping habits (bed too soft, too many pillows or not enough, sleeping in bad positions, ect…) The biggest issue that I have with this is trying to figure out what works or what is correct. There is some information out there, but it is limited. So I’ve resorted to trial and error. I’m very aware how important sleep is for proper recovery, but I seem to be hurting myself. This has been an ongoing issue for me for over 10 years.

Guys, loved this episode and was so thankful there no F bombs since it allowed me to let my kids listen! My 13-year-old daughter is really getting into CrossFit and was super inspired to hear Angelo’s story.

I just turned 43 yesterday and have been doing CrossFit for around 5 months and listening to your show has been a great help! So, thank you for what you guys do!

      Hey Ron,

Glad to hear it! Thanks for listening. Cool to hear we’ve got some younger audience listening in. We’ll try to get more younger athletes on the show! (and try to get CTP to bleep some things out)
